Department of Theology

When you mention the word THEOLOGY, the human being, interested in sciences, thinks of a theoretical branch of science, which is far from the everyday practice. The community of our department tries to demonstrate the contrary of this false concept, through their work at this university. The human being has no such question; the human life has no such condition whereupon God, denoting Himself in the Bible, would not have an answer, an instruction. Our department carries out multi-sided activities. It teaches specialists according to the necessity of our church and our community, living as a minority. In addition to education, our department is the initiator of many activities, which play an important role in community building and strengthening. By organizing stage conversations, calm days, colorful and varied youth programs, it creates – enforcing the principle of interdisciplinarity – occasions, which enrich and make significant the university years. Within the University, our Department cooperates with other departments, in the field of both educational-pedagogical activities and scientific research. It maintains a viable contact with the local and abroad twin institutions in the field of scientific work, thus creating the national and Christian unity of cooperation, together thinking, despite the separation.
